Introduction
Welcome to Alfred. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Alfred's AI receptionist platform, website, and related services ("Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
Eligibility
To use Alfred, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
Represent a legitimate business entity if registering a business account.
Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
Alfred reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel subscriptions at our sole discretion.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
All activities that occur under your account, whether authorised or not.
Ensuring only authorised personnel access your account.
Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
You must notify Alfred immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.
Alfred will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to maintain adequate security of your credentials.
Use of the Service
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks, or data.
Misrepresent your business identity, qualifications, or the nature of your services.
Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue burden on the Service or its infrastructure.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or misleading content.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without prior written consent.
Alfred reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including suspension or termination of your account.
AI Generated Responses
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, networks, or data.
Misrepresent your business identity, qualifications, or the nature of your services.

Intellectual Property
All software, technology, branding, designs, documentation, and content comprising the Service are the intellectual property of Alfred and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of all business information, content, and data you provide to the Service.
By using the Service, you grant Alfred a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This licence terminates when you delete your content or close your account.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying technology without prior written consent from Alfred.
Subscription & Billing
Paid subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You agree that:
All fees are stated in the currency specified on our Pricing page and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
You are responsible for providing valid and up-to-date payment information.
Alfred may change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice prior to your next billing cycle.
Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund or cancel your subscription, please contact [email protected].
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Alfred shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Alfred's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Alfred is not liable for any losses resulting from inaccurate AI-generated responses, service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorised access to your account.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time by providing written notice.
Alfred may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:
You breach any provision of these Terms.
Your use of the Service poses a security risk or may cause harm to other users.
We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Alfred will retain your data for a period of 30 days following termination, after which it may be permanently deleted. You may request an export of your data during this period by contacting [email protected].
Changes to These Terms
Alfred reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Service before the effective date.
